As research assistant to Professor Jane Wolff, Director of Landscape Architecture at the University of Toronto, I had the opportunity to design a poster for an exhibition at the Exploratorium in San Fransico. The task was to use the definitions of “land” and “water” from the Oxford English Dictionary and create an image that, according to Jane, shows how ”land and water are never seperate and never static and we can’t take language - and landscapes - for granted.”
